I've said it before and I will say it again,   RSP isn't about your typical Rich, Skinny and Pretty Paris Hilton   wannabe. Instead it's about everyday women and everyday style. In   addition to featuring girls just like you and me, RSP delivers exclusive   style interviews with the ladies who are making things happen. That   includes publicists, photographers, stylists, designers, bloggers,   models and basically anyone else that I find fascinating enough to share   with you.

Style is not only found on the runways of Paris, the A-List parties in New York, or on the red carpets of LA. It’s found all around you- at your local coffee shop or dive bar. Style is in our everyday lives, with everyday people.

Our society is consumed and captivated by this idea of “Rich, Skinny, Pretty”. The media and society interchangeably work together to create these ideologies, and unfortunately we are all part of this cycle. We are addicted to reading Us Weekly and Star, and making a date with girlfriends to watch reality shows like “The Hills” and “The Real Housewives of…somewhere affluent.” All drama aside, aren’t we watching these shows and reading these magazines just to see what the women are wearing?

Ash:  D.A.V., Buffalo Exchange,any really good  consignment  shop. Sometimes I feel really overwhelmed in a place like  Forever 21  because it's really un-organized so I never know where to  start or how  to create your own style around 8-thousand of the same  items.

RSP: Best bargain…fashion wise? 
Ash: Consignment shops are the way to go.

RSP: Favorite lip balm?

Ash:  In my free time I like to paint, read, spend time with my man and   doggie, ride my bike, fly kites, roller skate, driving the coast with  my  windows down, bowl, hang out with friends and shop.

Meet Bebe

As the creator of Fated to be Hated, a Teen Vogue blogger and already featured in Seventeen magazine within her first year of the industry, this lil' fashion muse is one powerhouse to be reckoned with. It was love at first sight when we met in Vegas at the Teen Vogue blogger lounge. I was charmed by her over-sized floppy hats, layered jewelry, continuous reapplying of lipstick (as do I) and her fixation of Mountain Dew and Doritos. Yes, a bag of Doritos is all she needs, well that and maybe a pair of amazing one of a kind secondhand pumps and a designer bag. We ventured through WWDMAGIC together and scoured far and wide for our gifted Pour La Victoire flats. I call her my lil' Bebe Lover and she calls me NackAttack. We are long lost sisters. Meet my little Bebe Zeva ♥RSP: What is your current position in the fashion industry? (Feel free to include previous experience as well).

Bebe: Right now I'm a style blogger and freelance journalist. I write about what I know- my wardrobe, my preferences, myself. My blog is about 6 months old, so I'm still learning the ropes of this industry.

RSP: Which fashion designers or runway trends influence your overall look?
Bebe: Lately I've been smitten with Givenchy, Ashish, and (as usual) Jeremy Scott. I don't like runway trends that are easily imitable. Couture is about the designers' artistic vision, so I often consider it completely separate from what I'd apply to my personal style.

RSP: What is the biggest TREND or MUST- HAVE ITEM for spring?
Bebe: Whatever it is, I definitely don't want it!! This spring I'm trying to stray from must-haves because I'm bored with blending in. As much as I love floppy hats and floral prints, I'm gonna have to cast them aside for a few months and get my hands on something much more unusual, like a lightwash denim vest with pastel decals!

RSP: What is the biggest TREND or MUST- HAVE ITEM for spring?

Bebe: Whatever it is, I definitely don't want it!! This spring I'm trying to stray from must-haves because I'm bored with blending in. As much as I love floppy hats and floral prints, I'm gonna have to cast them aside for a few months and get my hands on something much more unusual, like a lightwash denim vest with pastel decals!

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?
Bebe: My everyday purse- a Rebecca Minkoff black leather messenger! It matches absolutely everything and can be dressed up or down to any occasion. I've never felt insecure with that bag swinging from my shoulder. Something about the layered fringe and edgy zippers is comforting.

RSP: What can we find in your closet? Please include specific brands, items, pieces, etc.
Bebe: Oversize blazers of all colors, black sheer veils and dresses, felt hats, British flags, lace socks, and faded leather! I've got everything from Diesel to Burberry to Levis and back again. Nothing better than mixing a pair of Gucci peep toe pumps with a secondhand sweater from Savers.
RSP: In your opinion what is the biggest fashion faux pas???
Bebe: Tight-fitting crew neck t-shirts with capped sleeves. Can I even call that a fashion faux-pas? It's so far from "fashion" in the first place! Nothing is worse than skate sneakers worn with low-rise denim shorts and an oversize Famous Stars and Straps hoodie. Did you hear that, Vegas??

RSP: Favorite places to shop?
Bebe: Savers and Buffalo Exchange! I love the scent of secondhand... it smells like infinity. That's how much potential every piece carries.

Bebe: As warm as it is in Vegas, I'm a year-round hot chocolate addict! Nestle hot cocoa with a drop of milk and marshmallows is ethereally good.

Bebe: I admit to being one of THOSE girls who wears Flava Craze Blue Crazeberry chapstick. I can't help that it tastes like my childhood! And it works as a great lipstick primer to boot!

RSP: What makes you tick?
Bebe: Food. All the time. My perfect meal is a piece of cheese pizza with Mountain Dew and Buffalo Wing flavored Doritos on the side. And yes, I proudly admit to relishing the orange Cheetos powder that clings to my fingers after tearing through a bag or two...

RSP: When it comes to the opposite sex, what is a style must?...and a style turn-off?
Bebe: Style must: Fitted jeans, leather jackets, combat boots, and studs or chains. I like me a bad boy.
Style turn off: Buzzcut hair, aviator sunglasses, and skate shoes. I shouldn't even have to explain that Affliction, Ed Hardy, and Tapout are The Worst Possible brands for a man to don on his back.

RSP: Five things in your handbag right now?
Bebe: My point-and-shoot Samsung digital camera, my iPod touch, my Lime Crime lipstick collection, a disposable camera (I never go anywhere without one), and a hot pink lucky rabbit's foot!

RSP: Finish this sentence: "I wish...
Bebe: I was a little bit taller. No, literally. I'm 5'2" and it's my only insecurity!! ;)

Kell: Lots of skinny jeans…BDG, Dickies, Red Engine, William Rast, ect. Men’s T-shirts…many of which with the sleeves cut off. Not sure on brands, mostly band shirts. Jackets galore! Members Only, True Religion, Dolce & Gabanna, Tracey Reese, Vintage, Top Shop, etc. Shoes. Duh. Converse, Nike, Seychelles, Kors, L’Autre Chose, Report, blahblahblah.

RSP: How would you describe your look?
Kell: I’m all over the place. Edgy, vintage, eclectic, androgynous. That pretty much sums in up.

RSP: What do you do in your spare time?
Kell: Read, write, draw, run, socialize. Oh, and fantasize about my imaginary rock band.

Adri: Photographer.

Adri: There are some designers that I really appreciate but they don't necessarily influence my look and I don't really pay.

Adri: Anything clear and chokers.

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?
Adri: I would have to say my shoes in general, I am a shoe girl. I have a problem..RSP: What can we find in your closet? Please include specific brands, items, pieces, etc.
Adri: Pretty much everything I own is from friends or thrift stores, so a bunch of weird brands. Its fun to find vintage designer stuff while thrifting, I have some great vintage Betsey Johnson and just found a really rad old MCM purse.
My closet is also filled with an endless amount of mini skirts and crop tops

RSP: Which fashion designers or runway trends influence your overall look?
There are some designers that I really appreciate but they don't necessarily influence my look and I don't really pay attention to trends. My looks are usually inspired by movies and music that I'm into at the moment. Right now I'd say my top 4 influences are: Doom Generation, No Doubt, Garbage, and Clueless, if Cher listened to Minor Threat.

RSP: In your opinion what is the biggest fashion faux pas???
Adri: I can't really stand sandals in general, especially on dudes.

RSP: Favorite places to shop?
Adri: Thrift stores and dollar stores.

RSP: What are you drinking?
Adri: Green tea

RSP: Lip balm flavor?
Adri: Coconut

RSP: What makes you tick?
Adri: My friends, my photography, clothes, and music.

RSP: When it comes to the opposite sex, what is a style must?...and a style turn-off?
Adri: Its hard to be specific about this one, but the most important thing is that they know how to put their outfits together, they really just have to get 'it'.
I can't deal with guys that wear stupid/ugly graphic t-shirts everyday, it not that hard to throw on a button up.

Adri: Point and shoot camera + extra film, Sunglasses, business cards, movie stubs, polaroids

Best beauty advice? North America Sales Manager of Cle de Peau personally gave me some of the best beauty advice ever received while getting dolled up at the Cle de Peau beauty counter at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills...her advice? "Invest in skincare before investing in a pair of Christian Louboutins. People notice your face as you enter a room, not your feet." Couldn't have said it better myself! With that said, I prefer to keep face make-up minimal and instead rely on moisturizer, eye cream and serum to even my skin tone as well as hydrate.

Cle de Peau Beaute Refined Pressed Powder and Cle de Peau Extra Silky Lip Stick in 106. Other must haves? I always wear mascara and lip gloss. I like to keep it simple.

Celebs, socialites and a veritable list of who's who, have all shopped at LA's treasure trove, Motif LA. Located where you ask? Where else than shopping destination, Robertson Boulevard. What makes Motif LA a shopping must? Hmmm, maybe try the assortment of delicate confections such as vintage Hermès, Chanel, Haltson, Yves Saint Laurent and Lanvin to name a few. With Beverly Hills and Bel Air only a hop, skip and a jump away, tinsel town's most fashionable are tossing last season's items aside to make room in their closets for their next trip to Rodeo. What does that mean for us? When they are done with that to-die-for LBD or pair of killer pumps, it gives lil' ol' me a chance to nab that must-have item at one fabulous price.(Pair a statement necklace and framed handbag with a white-t and jeans. Go from yawn-inducing to wow.)

What else? I am big on having pieces that not everyone else and their mother is wearing. That means staying on trend while incorporating personalized signature pieces. And that my friends is what makes Motif so truly amazing. Instead of five of the same item hanging side by side you instead literally feel like you are stepping inside a glamorous over-sized walk-in closet as you sift through the racks of designer duds and delicious selection of bijoux, serious heels and addictive handbags. (Night out on the town? Christian Louboutins, check. Vintage Hermès clutch, check. Head turning bracelet, check.)

Krysten: Chan Luu bracelets-I can never get enough. I am a hoarder of baggy fitting T-shirts from H&M.A few Miguelina chiffon tops which I am obsessed with. A Marc by Marc dress that was once featured in Teen Vogue that I am actually selling on I-ELLA! Too many belts from random boutiques, flea markets, internships. Vintage T-shirts from my dad.

The look? I paired HUDSON Nico super skinnies with Sam Edelman Noura heels, a romantic Heed top for contrast with an androgynous Ella Moss jacket and of course I finished the look with a Preppy Camera Buffalo Leather Marc by Marc Jacobs bag.
My inspiration? American Girl in Paris. After living abroad in Paris during college I was forever inspired by the way women dressed oh so effortlessly cool. It looked like they were never really trying yet while always looking so put together...

Ellie: You can never be too glamorous for a day’s work at the my-wardrobe offices! This outfit hits the mark perfectly. The leather skirt is an easy way to buy into the fetish trend. The a-line shape and the length are very flattering and the combination with this Marc by Marc Jacobs knit really softens the look. I’m obsessed with oversize clutch bags for day. Not having heavy straps digging into your shoulder gives you a much lighter look yet this DVF one is roomy enough to throw all my daily essentials into. As RichSkinnyPretty readers will know burgundy is THE color of the season and what better way to wear it than with these Camilla Skovgaard shoes. I’ll be keeping them under the desk though, when running to the tube it’s Converse all the way! This amazing Anton Heunis necklace really finishes the look. In fact there’s nothing it doesn’t go with! We’re very proud to be stocking this brand exclusively.

RSP: Your favorite evening look?

Ellie: With a small baby at home I don’t often get the opportunity for nights out! When I do it’s usually a casual dinner with girlfriends over a bottle of wine. I love this Preen dress in printed silk. The loose 70s shae means I feel so relaxed and comfortable in it but the fabrication means it’s still utterly luxurious. The Moschino Cheap and Chic boots and Anya Hindmarch bag accentuate the 70s vibe of the dress but are both hard working items in their own right. I rely on great staple accessories like these to see me through all kinds of occasions all winter long.

This style darling is the vision and designer behind tristan + trista Los Angeles. Megrikian keeps the line ultra-femme with romantic, ethereal and tailored avant garde pieces. What makes the collection such a hot ticket? tristan + trista mixes contrasting textures such as draped silks with tough leather. Va va voom, now we're talking my kind of style.

RSP: What should we know about tristan + trista? What kind of woman wears tristan + trista?

Kristine: As  the designer, each collection is a direct reflection of periods in my  personal life and I am quite certain periods of every woman's life. At  times, she is in love where she sees the world in a very romanticized  manner. The Spring 2011 reflects this period in my own personal life. Hence, I felt the need to show the purity of being in love, the feeling  of complete innocence. At other times, she might feel more self  confident and assertive which is a reflection of Fall 2011. The pieces  in this collection are more edgier, stronger, and the woman wearing the  pieces is confident with her sexuality and femininity figuratively  speaking. Whatever the mood, the line is meant to show the beauty of  what it is to be a woman. Hence the woman wearing tristan + trista isn't  afraid to wear her life on her sleeve. She welcomes life and she isn't  shy to wear clothing that reflects her mood since isn't it true we dress  according to how we feel?RSP: Which piece is your favorite from the tristan + trista Spring/Summer collection?

Kristine: The  "Tulip Skirt" is pure heaven! Pictures do not do justice to how  ethereal and mystical this piece looks in person. It is truly a piece  of art. It's so delicate.  It screams innocence, romance and love in  its purest sense.

RSP: Describe your personal style in three words...

Kristine: Romantic, Intelligent and Classic

RSP: What is the biggest must-have for summer?

Kristine: The  Baby Doll Dress is the must must have for the summer. The dress comes  in two version: Sand Linen with black over lay lace or white silk linen  with a distressed silk organza overlay.  Either one is the ultimate must  have cute flirty dress for the summer.

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?

Kristine: A  personal secret -  I treasure the custom pieces made for me by my mother  and grandmther for special periods in my life. The first is my sweet  16 gown completely haute couture. Very much like a doll dress, the top  is a bustier with a short puffy skirt all made from ivory french lace  and silk satin. The second is my prom gown designed by myself. Also  haute couture, this dress is ivory again. Also fitted bodice with hand  beading by my grandmother and a ballerina tutu skirt. I looked so  adorable, one of the deans during prom walked up to me and gave me a  wand with a star on the top since I looked like a fairy. Needless to  say, my date and I made it into the prom magazine with a large photo. Last but not least would be my wedding gown; still to be determined =). I plan on one day displaying these prized possession in my home or  studio.

RSP: What can we find in your closet? (Please include specific items, accessories, brands, favorite pieces etc)

Kristine: Alot  of my own personal pieces only because I don't have to go out and spend  money which leaves me with cash to spend on the Christian Louboutins  =).

Meet Erica

RSP: What can we find in your closet?

Erica: Oh lala this is fun. Lots of vintage, worn in harley and elvis tees, shoes out the ying yang... all in plastic boxes with photo's on each box (ocd much?). Vintage designer purses, way more character in my eyes- mostly vintage Gucci, Chanel, & Louis. I love jackets as well, I just scored the most amazing BCBG worn in denim jacket with leather sleeves. My other favorite jacket is a downsized military jacket (army print) with an asymmetrical cut. I could go on forever with this. Basically I have more clothes than what is sane and I don't like to get rid of anything because it will either a) come back in style or b) I will reconstruct into something awesome and more wearable. 

RSP: Describe  your overall look.

Erica: I can best describe it as this... I like to sleep in. That being said, unless I decide to pick out my outfit the night before... which I do not do, then I would say my look is most likely messy yet ironically put together. I don't concentrate on matching, or what looks cohesive.... BUT it all just sort of works... and I always wear heels. I wouldn't say I walk out of the house looking like a complete mess, I guess they would call it careless chic?

RSP: Favorite designers?
Erica: As for designers... I am a huge fan of Phillip Lim, I love his spring line, referred to as the "puzzle piece" collection. It is so innovative and leaves a lot of room for creativity (not to mention he also graduated from CSULB). Props. Another big one for me is Chanel, I adore Karl.... I don't even need to think I need to expand on that one. Kermit Tesoro is a recent obsession of mine, you need to look this one up, his skull carved shoes and his wax drip dress are delicious.  Lastly, I am a huge mk&a fan, all the way back to good old full house, so I got to say I am a huge fan of Elizabeth & James. The close have the best cuts and lines, and the fit is absolutely impeccably... yet could you really expect less from those two?

p.s. one more thing I am a huge shoe fan and I got to give Jeffrey Campbell props, he is the man. Ok, now I am done (sorry for le rant)

RSP: What is the biggest TREND or MUST- HAVE ITEM for fall?

Erica: Sky high CHUNKY heels (think Jeffrey Campbell Lita). I love heels but I am just over stilettos (for now) Wedges are also completely acceptable in my eyes. I also love knee high socks for fall, you can still wear a mini without looking under dressed. Another trend which is not yet recognized, but should be is flared jeggings... or flared leggings. Straight jeans/pants are out. The new silhouettes is skinny skinny leg and a big old flare. I actually designed a pair myself that are black and white Missoni inspired fabric... and if I could wear them everyday... I def would.

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?

Erica: Well this one is hard, cause- not to boast- have some great things in my closet. Yet since I have to pick just one I will go with my Chanel riding boots from the 70's.

Since I started RSP, followers have been inquiring about my personal style and have asked life-altering questions which have utterly and irreparably changed my existence. Here are the answers...

What I'm listening to at this very moment...

What's in my closet?
I have a couple of Marc Jacobs blazers that I truly love. You can find a few tops from Alice + Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, See by Chloe, Wyton, Myne, Elizabeth and James, Diane Von Fursternberg and Alexander Wang. I have a Phillip Lim dress for days when I am feeling extra girly. I of course have a lot of basics from American Apparel and a few fun tops and skirts from Forever21, Zara and H&M. I also love to stock up on over-sized cardigans, tanks and tights from Urban Outfitters.
And don't be surprised if you find me in a thrift store, that's right, I am totally game for a $1.95 sweater from 1992. I would love to add a little Zac Posen, Balmain or Isabel Morant to my closet but as of yet that's just wishful thinking.
Denim?
I'm into quality denim with everything from Paige, J Brand, Joe's, Seven's, Hudson's, Rich & Skinny to Rock and Republics. I have one too many pairs of Insight skinny jeans - adore the fit. (Wearing Joie dress, Urban Outfitter tights, White House Black Market heels, Betsey Johnson necklace, layered Henri Bendel, Hayden Harnett, Marc Jacobs and Kate Spade bracelets.)

Handbags?
Hmmm let's list the faves I've been wearing recently - Fendi vintage clutch, YSL vintage clutch (a common theme! I am obsessed with designer vintage clutches) and a Marc by Marc Jacobs hobo in nude. I have my eye on the Mulberry Alexa bag in black....hmmmm now I just need to figure out how to afford it!
Shoes?
Haltson Heritage ballet flats in black with gold detail, YSL Tribute pumps in black and Stuart Weitzman peep toes in gray are a few signatures.

Fave lipstick?

What do you get when you combine Hollywood Boulevard, punk, powderpuff, a tutu, pink hair, an array of Jeffrey Campbell platforms, Seventeen magazine's Bebe Zeva and THE Audrey Kitching with none other than myself? Anyone who personally knows me can surely tell you that I am all about classic style with just a delicate hint of edge. I love feminine, sophisticated and bold pieces yet I'm not afraid of a little bit of structure now and then. With Emmanuelle Alt and Clemence Poesy as my go-to for all style inspiration you might be laughing out loud at the mere thought of me, yes me, styling a punk-esque photo shoot.

Online shopping? Um, yes please. My-Wardobe.com? Make that an absolute yes please. With designers like Vivienne Westwood, Preen, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Mulberry and Vince you better bet your Louboutins I'm prowling the site via my Lap Top, in PJ's, in bed, shopping my heart away.

Online shopping makes my life a whole lot easier, let me tell you! Regardless of your budget or personal style preference you always can find something that tickles your fancy while shopping online. It's time to throw out the common misbelief that to be stylish requires spending a lot of money. Fashion-lovers can make the mistake by thinking that casual and everyday style just can't be inexpensive. However, if you have the patience to search, you will find that this is simply not the case. As fashion continually grows and expands, and as people never stop wanting inexpensive options, stylish but casual attire is becoming more and more available at affordable prices. More than ever, inexpensive does not equate to poor quality, and casual can be quite stylish.

With that said, however, there is a ton of casual looking clothing out there that is extremely high quality, for of course, a bit more of a price. For example, if budget is less of a concern and you are looking for something both stylish yet casual, then you will opt for something like the Vivienne Westwood collections.Style is about balance – looking stylish without looking like you put forth too much effort, or looking casual in high quality clothing. These are some of the sometimes difficult balances that a designer like Vivienne Westwood can help any gal or guy strike, as she offers a variety of clothing such as loose, light weight tops, modern yet romantic skirts, and inventive but classic jackets. While this struggle is understandable, it is also relatively unnecessary when you consider the breadth of options available on the Internet or in stores. Style influence?
Ash describes her style as a little mixture of the 70's with a modern update. She is all about simplicity and minimalism. Instead of accessorizing with jewelry she opts for layering clothes. She pairs over-the-knee socks with boots and baby girl sure knows how to make a beanie look good.

Ash: Ride my bike, fly kites, roller skate, paint, driving the coast with my windows down...

RSP: How would you describe your look?
Ash: I keep it simple, as far as accessories go. However, I do love earrings. I don't have a huge passion for tons of flare since I like to layer a lot with clothing. I take it easy on accessories so I don't feel like I'm wearing my entire closet at once!RSP: Finish this sentence: “I Wish…"

If you haven't figured it out yet, Rich Skinny Pretty isn't actually about being rich, skinny or pretty. In fact, if you are one of the bright crayons in the crayon box you might have noticed that we here at RSP appreciate a range of styles and that's why we have featured everything from your trendy, label-loving, Neiman Marcus shopping girly girl to your eclectic, thrift-store perusing, vintage-inspired hipster and with that said, everything in between. This week we are admiring this lovechild in particular along with her free spirit and denim cut offs. We are even going to go ahead and agree with her and say, who doesn't appreciate a little butt cheek now and then?

Without further ado, meet Eileen.

RSP: What is your current position in the fashion industry?
Eileen: I'm stimulated by art... and fashion is such a great release of creative energy that I therefore find myself doing contracted jobs within the fashion world. I’ve styled two large production music videos and am the visual merchandiser and assistant buyer for a shoe boutique in La Jolla. Other then hosting a blog and running around San Diego’s trendy lovechild scene I don’t really know the direction my fashion career will take. But where ever it goes I plan to rock the sh*t out of it.

RSP: What is the biggest TREND or MUST- HAVE ITEM for summer?
Eileen: My lovechild trends for spring ’11... Desert boots, highwaisted shredded jean shorts (a little cheek never hurt anyone) and one… just ONE.. long feather earring.

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?
Eileen: Definitely my Grandmas vintage 60’s all real Jade necklace.. its so groovy and soooooo 60’s chic. Worth a ton back in the day and worth even more now. Its something you would see Rachel Zoe hold up and say “OMG I DIE” ... I’m not one for trendy genre specific pieces but this necklace will be classic ‘till the end of dayz.

RSP: Which fashion designers or runway trends influence your overall look?
Eileen: Its really not runway trends that catch my fancy.. it’s the street style culture that eats up the catwalk influences and twists it into their own personal funk.. lookbook.nu or everyday fashion blogs are my favorite references over any catwalk.But as far as trends in-general go… definitely the 70’s revival that’s going on… so much fun and really flattering shapes. Jeffery Campbell is leading the pack with his overly stacked wood wedges and gnarly prints and colors he slathers over any sandal wedge or boot he can find. He also just came out with an all leather/tribal textile purses and bags line.. omg I'm saving my money !!!!! Also check out the girls of Litter SF !!!! Sickest leg chains/shoulder jewelry/chain headbands in the world. All handmade and unique. So kick ass.

RSP: In your opinion what is the biggest fashion faux pas???
Eileen: Slut- the girl who tries too hard to look sexy…cheap dress, cheap heels overly teased hair and plastic make-up (you get the picture)… its not the amount of skin that defines who’s attractive.. it’s the confidence they elude.. never let the cloths wear you.RSP: Favorite places to shop?
Eileen: My closet solely consists of a color-coordinated combination of LF, NastyGal, and Planet Blue.

RSP: What are you drinking?

Eileen: Ive been known to date all types.. indie/pro-surfer/metro but the common thread between all of them is their over 6’4 and they wear fitted/ skinny jeans.Style turn-off: ugly or uninspired sunglasses, skater shoes and baggy or just ill-fitting jeans. The GAP can only do you so much good.. look elsewhere PLAHHEASE !!!!!!

Eileen: Well my purse is super tiny, but it consists of burtsbees (duh) an LF sparkle ID wallet, clinique matte powder and my iphone.. sorry im boring but I cant fit anything else !

Eileen: I was Native American.. I want nothing more then to run around in suede and turquoise and paint tribal patterns all over my body all day everyday.. I usually give myself a native American day every year at Coachella.. in which I literally pretend I'm native and deserve to be shoeless, half naked and have lines and dots on my face.. Audrey Kitching is without a doubt one of the most influential style bloggers on the Internet. So when I was asked to style her Tokyolux Summer 2011 Collection 'Born to Rock' I of course said yes without hesitation.
I spent a day in the Hollywood Hills with darling Audrey and her ultra talented team. Not only do I admire Audrey's aesthetic and overall style but I respect her vision. She is a genius in the sense of making something of herself by simply following her heart. She is authentic, genuine, ambitious and an absolute doll. Plus we both have a deep affinity for kittens and vegan cupcakes.

Rich Skinny Pretty: I left my heart in Paris.

Ever wonder why most of my closet consists of black with a little bit of neutrals here and there? Paris is the culprit. Not to mention, Paris Vogue's Emmanuelle Alt is one of my all-time major style inspirations. I cannot possibly recount all of my most beloved and nostalgic memories from living abroad in Paris, but I can assure you that they have undeniably changed me forever. Here is a style tribute to a city known for its glamour, style and couture, a city which has forever captured my heart. Can you blame me for being so in love?
Do not get me wrong, of course I spent a portion of my irreplaceable time in Paris studying for exams, reading dense articles on Foucault and the like, comparing Neoclassicism and Romanticism at the Louvre and procrastinating on papers. But more importantly and what I will remember is how I spent my free afternoons strolling the city while admiring sophisticated yet edgy Parisian style.

I will remember pursuing my own interests which were fulfilled by glamorous late nights on the Champs-Elysee and crisp afternoons of window shopping on Avenue Montaigne or perusing through the glossy pages of Paris Vogue while lounging in a park near the Marais. These are the moments which I will carry with me for the rest of my life...Bisous ♥

RSP: How would you describe your look?
Court: I like to mix a couple high end pieces with the rest being more bohemian. My boyfriend calls it “cruiser-chic.”

RSP: Best bargain…fashion wise?
Court: Buying jewelry from street vendors, it’s home-made and usually one of a kind. I’ve found some great pieces at the Encinitas Street Fair and the Venice Beach Boardwalk.

RSP: Favorite place to shop?
Court: A thrift store near my parent’s house in the Bay Area. I’ve found vintage Yves Saint Laurent and Prada bags for $20. Plus all proceeds are given to the American Cancer Society.

Since I started RSP, followers have been inquiring about my personal style and have asked life-altering questions which have utterly and irreparably changed my existence. Here are the answers...

(Wearing Lush sweater dress, Michael Kors studded flats and of course my no-name bracelets for layering from Europe. No-name rings purchased in Paris at Galeries Lafayette.)What's in my closet? I have a couple of Marc Jacobs blazers that I truly love. I recently just purchased a See by Chloe orange ruffle top - yes orange! You can also find a few tops from Alice + Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, Wyton, Myne, Elizabeth and James, Diane Von Fursternberg and Alexander Wang. I have a Phillip Lim dress for days when I am feeling extra girly. I of course have a lot of basics from American Apparel and a few fun tops and skirts from Forever21, Zara and H&M. I also love to stock up on over-sized cardigans, tanks and tights from Urban Outfitters. And don't be surprised if you find me in a thrift store, that's right, I am totally game for a $1.95 sweater from 1992. I would love to add a little Zac Posen, Balmain or Isabel Morant to my closet but as of yet that's just wishful thinking.I'm into quality denim with everything from Paige, J Brand, Joe's, Seven's, Hudson's, Rich & Skinny to Rock and Republics. I have one too many pairs of Insight skinny jeans - adore the fit.

Lip balm flavor? Vanilla. Or Watermelon for warm summer days at the beach, just something about it.

Five things in my handbag right now? Business cards, Orbit spearmint gum, Nars Orgasm blush, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in Golden Radiance and Soft Lips Vanilla lip balm.

What do you get when you mix a little bit of a rebel without a cause, established fashion designer, iconic style maven, unexpected pink hair, a taste of vintage, some serious punk glamour and a whole lot of ambition? Ladies and gentlemen, meet The Audrey Kitching, well if you haven't already.

Don't deny it girls, even if you are straight laced and prim n' proper you wish you had some of Audrey's edge. And boys, she favors leather jackets and combat boots, are you taking notes?

Don't be mistaken, Audrey's look says "I know I'm cool, but I'm not really trying." With a mix of innocence, major punk attitude, allure and vintage, this little firecracker has had the fashion cognoscenti following her style for a decade. Her effortless look has earned some serious clout with the sartorial set and now you get to find out all you ever would want to know. RSP: What is your current position in the fashion industry? (Feel free to include previous experience as well).

Audrey: I would like to think im bringing trend and freedom of style back into peoples life. So many people play it safe, im more about having fun! I have been writing about fashion for years and blogging for almost 10! I currently have two clothing lines, one showcases my true punk side and the other is more of my girlie kitty cat lover personality.

Audrey: Wow, I guess I pull from everyone... currently loving Jeremy Scott, Missoni, Ashish, Top Shop, Pamela Love.. I use to be huge fan of Betsey Johnson but its been looking so cheap lately, saddens me.

RSP: What is the biggest TREND or MUST- HAVE ITEM for spring?

Audrey: Im really into huge chunky 5inch heels! I think they can make any boring outfit fabulous. Perfect pair of circle sunnies and a floppy hat! Im all about casual, comfort, chic and realistic... cause lets face it, us girls aren't eating bon-bons and shopping all day, we are making things happen!
RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?

Audrey: Probably my Grandmothers jewelry collection or a vintage white shag coat that was my hair stylists mothers in the 70s!

RSP: What can we find in your closet? Please include specific brands, items, pieces, etc.

Audrey: Im really into vintage, I don't shop new very often. Faux fur and shag coats, vintage Chanel bags and jewelry, Jeffrey Campbell shoes, Topshop dress's, turbans, vintage scarfs, sheer maxi skirts and lingerie i wear as out with a jacket and pumps. Im a huge hoarder of hats and sunglasses. I probably have over 150 hats.. don't get me started on shoes!RSP: In your opinion what is the biggest fashion faux pas???

Audrey: Buying to much into trends and not being true to yourself. Its fun to play with whats in style but don't lose who you are. If hats are in and your no a hat person.. don't wear one!

RSP: Favorite places to shop?

Audrey: Estate sales, vintage shops, yard sales, online stores, ebay and flea markets. Im really into one of a kind and handmade designs. Don't get me wrong I have clothing from major labels but trash to treasure shopping is my favorite!

RSP: What are you drinking?

Audrey: Im huge on fresh raw juices and smoothies. I make one every morning. Currently my favorite smoothie is vanilla rice milk, agave, and frozen cherries! As far as juicing goes im a simple girl... apple, carrot, ginger!

RSP: Lip balm flavor?

Audrey: I like vanilla.. its natural and not to strong, perfect for morning hikes and bed time.

RSP: What makes you tick?

Audrey: Ignorance makes me crazy! I feel like so many people don't read or educate themselves anymore. So much time is spent on social networking sites and playing video games. I know knowledge is the most powerful thing anyone can have, and its free! My favorite things are simple, I love nature, mountains, hiking and the beach.... add in cooking and movies and you got yourself the perfect day! Im a split personality... one side of me loves fashion, glamor and the ambiance that goes with it, the other side is so simple and loves to relax.

RSP: When it comes to the opposite sex, what is a style must?...and a style turn-off?

Audrey: They have to have their own look, be confident and ambitious! I could never date a guy who wasn't into fashion and self awareness. A must have is nice fitting jeans, leather jacket and combat boots.

Let's face the facts, all of us certainly need a mentor at one point or another in our life. Luckily for me, one of my most inspiring, supportive, and encouraging mentors is Chantal Gordon-Benoit. With experience at Women Wear Daily, Vogue and NBC under her YSL belt, you better bet your stilettos she knows style. She is ultrasophisticated yet edgy and cool. Her visual bravado veers towards understated and chic while consistently delivering a serious air of effortless streetwear attitude.

This former "Vogue-Bot" not only has an unparalleled extensive vocabulary and an authentic style that she truly owns, but she is the hardest working and absolutely most fabulous woman I know. In fact, she was one of the few who encouraged me to create RichSkinnyPretty.com.

Chantal: I'm loving Alexander Wang right now - he's a current fashion darling for good reason because his looks manage to be sexy, athletic, tough all at once. In general I love collections and looks that are built on contrasts. Another place I'm going for fashion inspiration @ the moment is street style. It can be difficult to catch onto street style in a car culture like SoCal, but I try to make it back to NYC somewhat often, and I come back w/ tons of ideas on updating my look. In the meantime, I go on The Sartorialist, Garance Doure' and Street Peeper almost daily. In my opinion that's the best way to develop your own idiosyncratic look.

I splurge on designer and quality shoes, handbags, watches and sunglasses. I also have a ton of American Apparel clothing. I like how simple they are but everything is so versatile as well. It’s fun to mess around with all their patterns and colors and just make it your own.

Teen Vogue Blogger Lounge at WWDMAGIC

Fact: Personally being invited to the Teen Vogue blogger lounge at WWDMAGIC has without a doubt been one of the highlights of my life.

Fact: Seeing firsthand the styles and trends for fall by some of my favorite designers has been absolutely dreamy.

Fact: Meeting my favorite fashion bloggers while admiring their personal style will go down in history books, well at least my history book ;)

Here are a few of the highlights...obviously what the bloggers were wearing are THE highlights.

Plus meeting Jane Alrdridge of Sea of Shoes, Colby Jordan of Minnie Muse, Bebe Zeva of Fated to be Hated, Erica Dolmesek of PS I Made This, Audrey Kitching of The Audrey Kitching, Jennifer Margolin of Red Sole Diaries (she really does wear Christian Louboutins daily!) and sharing a limo ride with Jazzi McGilbert of Jazzimcg to a private Rebecca Minkoff dinner with the CMO attending all wasn't half bad either. Oh and did I mention hanging out with Crosby Noricks of PR Couture on the regular? But hey, CN and I already go way back, in fact, we already have a few sleepovers under our belts.

And it goes a little something like this...

Day 1: How every woman should start her day...with the fashion bible and a little Starbucks. My golden ticket you ask? Venti Zen Green Tea with 2" steamed soy and honey. No artificial flavors thank you very much.

As one of the founders of ultra-cool (No Subject) Los Angeles, a creatively driven digital marketing and events agency, you better believe she knows a thing or two about style. Find out what's in her closet and which designers make her swoon.

RSP: What is your current position in the fashion industry? (Feel free to include previous experience as well).
Chelsea: I've been in the fashion industry for five years now - mainly in events. Previously, I was the Senior Tradeshow Manager at the California Market Center in Downtown LA. I ran an emerging designers show, a shoe show (think Jeffrey Campbell, L.A.M.B, Irregular Joice... droooooool), and a Textile show. Perk of the job: personals. (!!).

Currently, I am at (No Subject) - we're a digital marketing & events agency - started by myself and Jaclyn Johnson (blogger behind Some Notes On Napkins). We have an event space downtown LA where we curate original, outside of the box events, in addition to working with a broad range of lifestyle brands (fashion, beauty, hospitality) to develop their digital strategy & social media marketing. I also am the creator of All of the Above.RSP: Which fashion designers or runway trends influence your overall look?
Chelsea: I'm really into the hardcore tones: spikes, black leather, chains, chunky heels. I'm totally into over-accessorizing. Inspired by.... CLOTHING: Balmain, Stella McCartney, Rory Beca, LALA Berlin, Topshop, H&M. ACCESSORIES: Micha Design, Rapz, CC Skye and my own (!). I'm constantly DIYing.

RSP: What is the biggest TREND or MUST-HAVE ITEM for summer?
Chelsea: TRENDS: Neon, Acid Wash Denim, Florals, honing in on your inner Def Leopard groupie. MUST-HAVE ITEM: a great pair of flats and a tan (using sunscreen of course).

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?
Chelsea: A Jay Godfrey blazer I got at a sample sale. It's black with gold details (chunky buttons and zippers). I get compliments every single time I wear it. (and it was soooo cheap).RSP: What can we find in your closet? Please include specific items, accessories and brands.
Chelsea: Lots and lots of dresses. I'm not really a jeans girl, more leggings and tights. Working downtown I'm always stumbling upon sample sales - so my closet is frequented with the likes of: Rory Beca, Geren Ford, Leyendecker, YA YA.... but ALSO (and don't tell nobody), you can find amazing trends on the cheap in The Alley (yes, Santee Alley). I've picked up some major scores there.

Here are a few of the questions asked during the selection process:

How did you start your blog? What was the creative inspiration behind putting yourself out to the world?

While working at a lifestyle and fashion magazine as well as freelancing as an in-house publicist for a luxury handbag line and assisting a local fashion stylist, I felt grateful for the opportunity to gain experience however stifled in expressing my own creativity. I was ultimately always constrained and under someone else's vision. While meeting with mentors such as Chantal Gordon, a prior Vogue West Coast assistant and creator of PRCouture.com, Crosby Noricks, I was not only inspired but encouraged to start my own style blog in order to create a platform to display my creativity and capabilities.

RSP is about everyday women and everyday style - a departure from our generation's obsession with Paris Hiltion, Lauren Conrad and Lindsay Lohan. Instead, my focus is on your everyday girl's closet with a realistic budget. My blog follows four main girls each with their own unique idea of style. You will meet Kelly who opts for thrift-store shopping, Courtney who prefers Forever21 and Urban Outfitters, Ashley who has an eye for vintage (both designer and no-name) and Rachael who lusts for designer brands. In addition, I interview fashion industry professionals who share their personal style preferences. My blog has enabled me to conceptualize and style photo shoots, write style/trend coverage and conduct interviews....a dream come true!

From where you began to where you are now as an independent writer, what are three valuable things you’ve learned about your craft?

You have to create content that is original and unique – otherwise what makes you stand out among all of the other bloggers out there? It is a must to find your own voice.

You should be your worst critic. I am constantly thinking about what I could do better, constantly learning, constantly evolving...and ultimate progressing.

As much as there is an emphasis on creating interesting content, I am equally thinking about how to market myself and my blog, both through traditional marketing and new media. I have produced the Opening Day SD Polo Fashion Show in Rancho Santa Fe presented by Riviera magazine, been a guest speaker at FIDM, write a recurring style and shopping guide for DiscoverSD.com and freelance write for 944 magazine, each always connecting RSP to whatever I may be doing.

What is your personal style?

The dichotomy of my style is almost a contradiction. Influenced by my ocean-tasseled wavy hair roots born and raised a Southern California girl and equally inspired by the chic street style of Paris while living abroad during college has created my constant evolving style. Casual and simple pieces, tanks paired with denim or frocks and sheaths, always complemented with bold accessories describes my everyday look.

I admire how others pair unexpected pieces however I have to admit I play it safe with a clean aesthetic and always pay attention to the overall silhouette of my ensemble. I am personally drawn to basic pieces however complete my looks with accessories. I always layer bracelets and think it is definitely worth it to splurge on quality handbags and shoes.

My California casual feminine style consists of flats, flowy dresses, ruffled blouses and a-line skirts however you will also find in my closet juxtaposed with these softer pieces more structured, darker and edgier items like blazers, leather jackets, skinny jeans, black leggings and 6-inch pumps. I definitely have been influenced by the sophistication and très chic style of Paris. It really depends on my mood and the occasion. If it’s champagne brunch or a day of shopping it calls for a simple flowy dress for our warm California weather, while I will opt for a black leather jacket or blazer and skinny jeans or leggings for a night out.

What brands are you head over heels in love with?

Adore Marc Jacobs, Chanel and Chloe handbags. Miu Miu, Haltson, and Michael Kors flats are to die for. YSL makes the sexiest 6-inch pumps but Aldo makes affordable similar styles.

I'm into quality denim with everything from Paige, J Brand, Joe's, Seven's, Hudson, Rich & Skinny to Rock and Republics. I have one too many pairs of Insight skinny jeans - adore the fit.

I'm into Marc Jacobs, See by Chloe, Alice + Olivia, Elizabeth and James, Rebecca Taylor and Hayden-Harnett to name a few.

I would love to add a little Zac Posen, Balmain or Isabel Morant to my closet but as of yet that's just wishful thinking!

There is no need to jaunt off to LA for your shopping needs considering San Diego's boutiques are chock-full with a veritable who's who list of designer labels and an array of rich styles for the winter season.

It’s officially time to edit your wardrobe. Move over the light cardigans from fall to make some room for the absolute musts of the fresh season ahead. Hone in on this season's biggest trends with my ultimate style guide featuring the au courant trends for Winter 2011.

The Camel Coat has made a glorious return to our closets. Reminiscent of Lauren Huttun circa 1970s, the empowered ‘70s sophisticated yet understated glam is officially back with celebrities like Alexa Chung and Blake Lively sporting the classic outerwear. Not only are A-Listers jumping on this trend but collections such as Chloe and Dries Van Noten have made this piece a staple for our winter wardrobes. With our San Diego weather being on the chilly side this year, what a better excuse to stay bundled up and warm with this sumptuous option? The Look: Shearling
It's officially time to get cozy with shearling. Collections by designers such as Victor & Rolf and Burberry Porsum incorporated lamb's wool throughout their pieces on the runways from cropped suede jackets to booties. Shearling can be surprisingly luxe when done right and of course always soft and comfortable. It's all about looking casual chic while staying warm. The look is more appropriate for day attire unless your evening is comprised of a low-key dinner or dive-bar gallivanting. You might favor leather tones with a classic shearling jacket cut otherwise it can look a little too pajama-like. Don't be mistaken, this look by Burberry Porsum says “I know I look cool, but I am not really trying.”

Talk about a cult favorite, Home boutique in Encinitas has an eclectic mix of both used and new clothing. The shopping experience is unparalleled in terms of never really knowing if you are going to walk out with a $7 pair of sunglasses or a pair of Gucci riding boots. Look forward to browsing through tasteful hipster pieces and unique vintage treasures. Trendsetters are scooping up some of the best finds in North County at this lil' treasure trove that has earned some serious clout with the sartorial set. If you have the luxury of shopping weekly then definitely take the time to peruse the racks for potential new additions to your closest. Once you find your perfect pair of shearling trimmed booties or plush jacket, create a runway inspired look with tights and an unexpected dress.

The Look: Lace
Oh la la – a mixture of innocence and sensuality will have others vying for your style all winter long. Have you noticed? The most vaunted lace trend has been evolving over the past few seasons. Oscar de la Renta, Givenchy and Dolce & Gabanna have reinvented the look for this winter. Keep in mind a few key notes. Choose a sturdier fabric rather than a thin stretch material. Second, look for an intricate and unique pattern. Also keep in mind darker tones such as black are appropriate for winter compared to the the light neutrals we saw previously in spring. Plus, the true key to wearing lace is by making a romantic statement; an effortless mix of sensual and feminine yet not over-suggestive. And please for the sake of all of us do not make the same mistake as Leighton Meester at the Harry Winston Court of Jewels event in NYC wearing a Marchesa sheer lace jumpsuit - oops. Meester's fashion disaster aside, if you are looking for frill, charm and allure you will positively be an angelic vision in lace. Swoon.

Attention cadets, take on androgyny with military-inspired garbs. If you have yet to jump on the bandwagon, then at long last invest in a military piece. This trend has been lingering for past seasons and will continue to endure throughout Winter 2011. Invest in a classic coat, trench or vest. Or try the related aviator trend to add a little idealized heroic glamour to your wardrobe. Look for outerwear that is structured with emphasized shoulders or even oversized buttons. Marc by Marc Jacobs, Jill Stuart and MaxMara have each revamped the trend that continues to be a strong style influence for 2011.

The fashion cognoscenti already know that wide-leg pants have reemerged this season. Move over skinny jean and hello flared trousers. Again with the ‘70s influence as we have seen with the camel coat, we welcome the familiarized powerhouse style. With the likes of style icons like Olivia Palemro, celebs such as Lauren Conrad and collections by mega-designers like YSL and Chloe; you won't be mistaken, the flare is back and offers a dramatic mighty punch. The look says “I am woman and hear me roar.” Thanks Helen Reddy, we hear you loud and clear and will proudly be rocking the look well into the season. Hesitant about leaving the skinny behind? Not to fret, skinny denim and leggings are still hot for winter; just don't be afraid to include a pair of wide-leg trousers to your winter wardrobe.

RSP: What is the biggest must-have for winter?

Stephanie: My biggest must have for Winter is my over the knee boots by Chloe in Whiskey. I love them and they go with every outfit I have. A definite must for Fall with a nice chunky scarf! I'm knitting so I am crazy about making chunky scarves in Baby Alpaca yarn. So soft and cozy!

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?

That could be a trick question!! But my most prized possession would be little dog Nacho. He is the cutest Chihuahua of them all!!! Okay, besides my dog...I would have to say my engagement ring. It is six separate vintage rings stacked together. Every time I look at it, I melt.

RSP: What can we find in your closet? (Please include specific items, accessories, brands, favorite pieces etc)

Stephanie: You can find vintage pieces like wrap dresses, silk blouses, and robe jackets from my favorites brands like Diane Von Furstenburg and Christian Dior. I just purchased an amazing vintage batwing jacket from Donna Karen...probably from the 80's. I am obsessed with it!

I also collect kimonos. All kinds! I love the all the Japanese prints they come in.
My new favorite accessory that I can't live without now is my Hermes Collier de Chien Cuff Bracelet. I've been wanting this bracelet for some time and it's my new favorite accessory! Toughens up any outfit. I also have this gold vintage necklace with a old vintage key at the end. It's chunky and is the perfect necklace for all my solid color dresses.
I am in love with my Jeffrey Campbell Platform and Platform Boots. They are so comfortable and give you the height you need!

We have our eye on a fresh up and coming designer, Gabby Applegate. At only 20 years old and with one collection already under her belt she has garnered attention for her deliciously dark designs. With a pallet full of muted colors and a strategic use of leathers, Applegate's brooding garbs are simply genius. Simplicity mixed with a little rebellious spirit makes her looks edgy yet wearable.
A cape is already a lavish outwear choice but turn around and wowza, now we are talking! With unexpected cutouts, the look just became that much more sultry.

RSP: What is your current occupation?
Court: Professional modern dancer – currently dancing with Joe Alter Dance Group in San Diego.

RSP: What can we find in your closet? Please include specific items, accessories and brands.
Court: Since I share a closet with my boyfriend (who has kept every article of clothing since 4th grade) I have to be very selective. You’ll find a lot of Jackets – my faves are by Max Studio and Kenneth Cole, skinny jeans by Citizens of Humanity, organic yoga clothing by Eco Yoga, and scarves for EVERY season.

RSP: Favorite place to shop?
Court: The Discovery Shop – a thrift store near my parent’s house in the Bay Area. I’ve found vintage Yves Saint Laurent and Prada bags for $20. Plus all proceeds are given to the American Cancer Society.

RSP: What are you drinking?
Court: Veuve Clicquot. Looking forward to my family’s annual mimosa drinking contest on Christmas morning.

RSP: Hotspot's?
Court: Yoga Swami. It sits on land certified by the National Wildlife Federation and with classes being held in a yurt it’s by far my favorite place to “hangout” in Encinitas.

RSP: Who’s your favorite model?

I'm into quality denim with everything from Paige, J Brand, Joe's, Seven's, Hudson's, Rich & Skinny to Rock and Republics. I have one too many pairs of Insight skinny jeans - adore the fit.
I have a couple of Marc Jacobs blazers that I truly love. I recently just purchased a See by Chloe orange ruffle top - yes orange! Which is rare for me since most of my closet consists of black or white. I am not big on color however if it's right for me, what can I say, I just know!

I also have a few tops from Alice + Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, Elizabeth and James and Marc Jacobs. I have a super comfortable tank by Alexander Wang that I could live in and another similar top by Haute Hippie. I have a Phillip Lim dress for days when I am feeling extra girly. I of course have a lot of basics from American Apparel and a few fun tops and skirts from Forever21, Zara and H&M. I also love to stock up on over-sized cardigans, tights and flats from Urban Outfitters. And don't be surprised if you find me in a thrift store, that's right, I am totally game for a $1.95 sweater from 1992. I would love to add a little Zac Posen, Balmain or Isabel Morant to my closet but as of yet that's just wishful thinking!

The below look is inspired by a night out on the Avenue des Champs-Elysée but I would most definitely wear this look out to a formal business dinner or on a dressier date night.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Breakfast at Tiffany's - it must be every girl's dream. At least it was mine ever since watching the Audrey Hepburn 1961 classic, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" when I was a mere twelve years old. The idea of having a private breakfast amongst apprised jewels, sparkling baubles and flawless diamonds at the leading jeweler seemed to be simply just a fantasy, one that could never be a reality.

Well that all changed with an exclusive invite for yours truly to attend the Breakfast at Tiffany fashion blogger event here in San Diego! While enjoying a very French inspired breakfast consisting of freshly squeezed orange juice, cheese and croissants I adorned myself with alluring jewels that appealed to my inner Holly Golightly. The girls of RSP are all about mixing low and high end pieces so what a better way to dress up an understated day look with a little extravagance and profusion. I feel privileged to share with you some of my personal favorite pieces...

While browsing the sumptuous treasures that Tiffany's has to offer this petite Tiffany Sola and white diamond pendant in platinum and 18k gold compliments my Jackie-O equestrian-esque inspired look (pictured above) with just the right amount of sparkle."Rare is a Tiffany yellow diamond. Looking for a little unseen flair? This Tiffany Laurelton top handle handbag in Glazed Crocodile is the perfect accessory to add that je ne sais quoi to your Sunday brunch attire. Who doesn't love a little Tiffany Blue? Imagine a basic white or black ensemble with a pop of color. At least that is how I would wear it. If you are a jet-setter, spending weekends in the Hampton's or Sunday afternoons at the Beverly Hills hotel this endearing little number has your name all over it.

OK, so maybe Tiffany diamonds are out of your reach - hey they are out of mine! But if you are like me and have a fondness for charms there will surely be something that will suffice in the Charmed by Tiffany collection. What is especially so appealing about these pieces is that there is a variety of charms for whatever may have meaning for you personally. My favorite is this Eiffel Tower charm in sterling silver which elicits memories of living in Paris.

Tiffany and Co. continues to be the go-to for fine jewelry. If you have the funds why not invest in quality pieces that possess class and tradition. But if you are like me with a bank account that is not exactly so Tiffany and Co. friendly, a girl can always dream, can't she? And who knows one day it might just become a reality...
