Ever wonder why most of my closet consists of black with a little bit of neutrals here and there? Paris is the culprit. Not to mention, Paris Vogue's Emmanuelle Alt is one of my all-time major style inspirations. I cannot possibly recount all of my most beloved and nostalgic memories from living abroad in Paris, but I can assure you that they have undeniably changed me forever. Here is a style tribute to a city known for its glamour, style and couture, a city which has forever captured my heart. Can you blame me for being so in love?
Do not get me wrong, of course I spent a portion of my irreplaceable time in Paris studying for exams, reading dense articles on Foucault and the like, comparing Neoclassicism and Romanticism at the Louvre and procrastinating on papers. But more importantly and what I will remember is how I spent my free afternoons strolling the city while admiring sophisticated yet edgy Parisian style.
I will remember pursuing my own interests which were fulfilled by glamorous late nights on the Champs-Elysee and crisp afternoons of window shopping on Avenue Montaigne or perusing through the glossy pages of Paris Vogue while lounging in a park near the Marais. These are the moments which I will carry with me for the rest of my life...

What's in my closet? I have a couple of Marc Jacobs blazers that I truly love. I recently just purchased a See by Chloe orange ruffle top - yes orange! You can also find a few tops from Alice + Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, Wyton, Myne, Elizabeth and James, Diane Von Fursternberg and Alexander Wang. I have a Phillip Lim dress for days when I am feeling extra girly. I of course have a lot of basics from American Apparel and a few fun tops and skirts from Forever21, Zara and H&M. I also love to stock up on over-sized cardigans, tanks and tights from Urban Outfitters. And don't be surprised if you find me in a thrift store, that's right, I am totally game for a $1.95 sweater from 1992. I would love to add a little Zac Posen, Balmain or Isabel Morant to my closet but as of yet that's just wishful thinking.
I'm into quality denim with everything from Paige, J Brand, Joe's, Seven's, Hudson's, Rich & Skinny to Rock and Republics. I have one too many pairs of Insight skinny jeans - adore the fit.
Lip balm flavor? Vanilla. Or Watermelon for warm summer days at the beach, just something about it.
I personally adore online shopping, in fact, I have yet to meet a girl who doesn't. One of my faves is ShopModerne.com and yours truly is giving away a $50 credit to one lucky RSP reader. With brands like Mink Pink, Wildfox Couture, Bleulab and Nation LTD a girl sure can shop her heart away...
I also can't get enough of Wildfox Couture. There is something so sexy about an understated oversized t-shirt. With catchy sayings and graphics you wont help but turn heads in these badboys. I'm into their Royal Pain Oversize V Neck and their Lipstick Traces Unisex Tee...yes please.
