Nacole Gray's San Diego Shopping Guide for DiscoverSD.com

Come shopping with Nacole Gray, creator of RichSkinnyPretty.com and the girls of Rich Skinny Pretty every month on DiscoverSD.com.

I will feature my personal favorite local boutiques while highlighting a major trend for the season. In addition, I will show you how to incorporate the staple piece into your wardrobe.

This month, Ashley and I went shopping at Azzaria Boutique + Denim Lounge Cardiff by the Sea (my hometown).

As a Cardiff native, I've always known this relaxed beach town was in desperate need of a boutique filled with a fresh and casual chic blend of fashion-forward pieces. Owner, Tammy Neihart showed us one of the biggest trends for spring – the boyfriend blazer.

With Ashley's edgy style, she opted to pair the Wish Azzaro Blazer ($180) with a Wish Submerge Tunic Tank ($80) and J Brand Tom Jett Lowrise Pencil Leg Denim ($187).
Ash accessorized with a House of Harlow 1960 Leather and Stone Cocktail Ring ($61) and layered up a few House of Harlow 1960 Leather and Gold Stack Bangles ($132 each).
She added a Heather Hawkins Clutch ($251) and completed the look with an Azzaria Private Label Bib Necklace ($24).

Nothing in the Azzaria Private Label is over $100, which makes it the perfect high-style brand for savvy San Diego shoppers.

Ashley and I are in "Denim Heaven."

San Diego's only full service denim bar also features William Rast, Hudson, Siwy and Joe's.
Azzaria Boutique carries other personal favorite brands, including Catherine Malandrino, Jay Godfrey, Diane Von Furstenberg and local jewelry designer Mimi & Lu.

If you are a North County local or find yourself in the neighborhood, make sure to stop by Azzaria for a little shopping.

Go shopping with me and Rachael at Gerhard boutique in Del Mar next month!

A La Mode: Funktional Collection

The girls of RichSkinnyPretty.com are swooning over the edgy yet wearable Funktional Spring 2010 Collection. Designer, Jennifer Park, understands refined detail while paying close attention to flattering silhouettes. The innovative line is surprisingly affordable yet not lacking in the use of high-quality fabrics.

RSP girls, Kelly and Ashley, as well as myself just added a few pieces to our closets.

Here are a few of our favorites:
