Headed to Opening Day and not sure what to wear? Opening Day boasts a bevy of stylish partygoers socializing and mingling with bubbly in one hand, a designer clutch in the other, and walking with their best sartorial swagger. Think over-sized hats and some serious bijoux! After bets were placed and the very fashionable mingled in the Turf Club, party-goers headed over to the luxurious L'Auberge hotel in Del Mar for the exclusive 944 magazine after party with a guest list of who's-who in San Diego.

RSP: What can we find in your closet? Please include specific items, accessories and brands.

Kell: Lots of skinny jeans…BDG, Dickies, Red Engine, William Rast, ect. Men’s T-shirts…many of which with the sleeves cut off. Not sure on brands, mostly band shirts. Jackets galore! Members Only, True Religion, Dolce & Gabanna, Tracey Reese, Vintage, Top Shop, etc. Shoes. Duh. Converse, Nike, Seychelles, Kors, L’Autre Chose, Report, blahblahblah.

RSP: How would you describe your look?

Kell: I’m all over the place. Edgy, vintage, eclectic, androgynous. That pretty much sums it

up.

RSP: Which fashion designers or runway trends influence your overall look?

Jamie: I might have a little crush on Michael Kors, Mark Jacobs, and Diane Von Furstenburg. Don't get me wrong I do like to do a lot of thrift shopping. Some of my best outfits come from HOME a local thrift store in Encinitas and Forever 21...shhh don't tell.

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?

Jamie: That is a hard one...I loooovvveee ALL my Michael Kors shoes. I rock the sh*t out of them till I have to get them repaired then I wear them again. I also am in love with my cow boy boots that I got in London. They are by Kurt Geiger...who ever that is.

RSP: What is your current position in the fashion industry? (Feel free to include previous experience as well).

I'm the founder of PR Couture http://www.prcouture.com/, a fashion PR blog. I have about 5 years experience in PR, mostly in the fashion, lifestyle and hospitality sectors.

RSP: Which fashion designers or runway trends influence your overall look?

I love mixing really over-stated romantic pieces with unexpected menswear inspired basics. My favorite looks are high-waisted wide-legged pants with lingerie-style tops or dresses with flat, riding boots. I love Erin Fetherston, Betsey Johnson, Lover, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood...

RSP: What is the biggest TREND or MUST- HAVE ITEM for summer?

Summer's not really my season, I am much more of a fall girl, but it is an excuse to wear summer dresses. I've become really obsessed with hair accessories, summer scarves and long necklaces lately. I recently bought a pair of Siwy cut-offs, which I think are the first pair of shorts I purchased since about 8th grade. I have no idea if I will wear them beyond the beach house but I suppose anything is possible.

RSP: What is your most prized fashion possession?

A 1960's tunic top that my mom bought when she was 16 and spent the summer in Italy. She gave it to me in high school and I've worn it ever since.

RSP: What can we find in your closet? Please include specific items, accessories and brands.

Oh geez, I have a ton of Citizen jeans that I've worn pretty much non-stop since college, pair of wide-legged Hudsons I wear all the time, a new-ish pair of ripped up flares from Forever 21, a lot of printed a-line skirts that were my mom's, a few pencil skirts, more high-waisted skirts lately, a lot of black Max Studio and BCBG dresses a Laundry wrap dress, tops from Lamb and Fornarina, H&M, a few slips by Betsey Johnson, Cosabella, lots of vintage - a tan leather cropped jacket, a turqoise silk bed jacket, several leather Hayden Harnett Bags, lots of boots and red shoes.

RSP: In your opinion what is the biggest fashion faux pas???

Passing on something you love with saying "I could never pull that off."

RSP: Which fashion designers or runway trends influence your overall look?

Rach: I’m a really simple girl when it comes down to it. I like what looks good and I don't really care who makes it. However, I do love anything Gucci. I also love what Karl Lagerfield has done for Chanel- he keeps the fashion house timeless and classic yet modern. Bestey Johnson, Phillip Lim and Diane Von Furstenburg are a few of my other favorites.

RSP: Which fashion designers or runway trends influence your overall look?

Kell: It’s hard to put my finger on just one, I’m scandalous when it comes to fashion I suppose. Chloe always seems to know what’s up…the same thing that’s been up for the last 60 years! Everything Chloe touches sings vintage, eclectic, antiquity. I also think music often shapes fashion.
